Located in the southeast section of Napa; Coombsville is area increasingly known for cooler, blue-fruit character. This region was recognized as a unique California AVA officially in December 2011.
Small cluster, low-yielding site – fully immersed purple fruit – primary, bright cherry character on the palate. - Aged in 30% new French barrels
This wine has very deep ruby-garnet color hue, with a berry-clay mineral nose, and sweet-tart currant flavors and will develop complexity in the bottle for a minimum of ten years.
